Overview

On a lovely day the views and scenery are outstanding. The mountain is not at all difficult, more of a walk with some nice scramble sections if you so choose. Pick a nice day and take lots of film. Unlike Crib Goch on Snowdon the route is very quiet. Enjoy.

Getting There

You start at Croesor just a few miles from Porthmadog, the parking is free (national car park) and you would need Ordnance survey Outdoor Leisure 17 (Snowdonia - Snowdon area) and 18 (Snowdonia - Harlech & Bala) to make a nice round trip returning down Cwm Croesor.

Red Tape

No permit's, no fee's, no seasonal closure's, No parking fee's. Protect wildlife , plant's & tree's.

When To Climb

Anytime, more of a challenge in winter as is any mountain.
