Route planner for Serfaus
Getting to the top.1.) Take the Komperdellbahn and the Lazidbahn to lazid.
From there follow the markt trail Furgler uber Tieftalsee.
Be carefull: Sometimes falling rock, avoid this path by rain!
From tieftalsee it is a 30 minutes hike to the top of the Furgler.
2.) Take the Komperdellbahn and the Lazidbahn to lazid.
From there follow the markt trail to the Furglersee. At the Furglersee follow the markt trail to the Furgler.
Be carefull: it is a very steep path through rock and sometimes
there lies still snow.
The best combination to climb it is to take the first route up and the second one down. The climb is best done when it's dry weather. Otherwis the rocks are very slippery and there is the danger of falling rock !! My third time was the good one!!!
I had to turn back the other two times due to the weather (white out and a lot of rain and wind).
When To Climb and gear.July,August and September are the best .
Only do this hike with good mountainboots, trekkingpoles are usefull. Always take with you: good wind and waterproof clothing. When you do it in oktober, november crampons will be usefull to !!!
