Valsesia is located in the north east of Piedmont, where the region borders both with Valle D'Aosta and Switzerland.
Its river, the Sesia, borns on the slopes of Monte Rosa(4632m) south face and flows to the big Po River.
This valley is often called "the green valley", due to its luxuriant botany.
