On the Topaz Mountain Road route, you can do as much hiking and as little Jeeping...or as much Jeeping and as little hiking as you'd like. I got my mostly stock (just a bit of lift) Rubicon to about 11,000, quite a bit above Monkey Creek, in several inches of snow.
