Pasang Lhamu Chuli (7350m)
Like out of a dream, the three summits emerged from the early morning clouds.
Left: Pasang Lhamu Chuli (7350m or 7351m, according to the maps), also called Jasemba or Nangpa Gosum (alternative spelling: Pasang Lhamo / Nangpa Gossum / Cho Aui / Nangpai Gosum 1 / Jasamba)
Centre: Fore-summit of Unnamed Peak 6576m (Peak 6592m on certain maps)
Right: Main summit of Unnamed Peak 6576m (Peak 6592m on certain maps)
Pasang Lhamu Chuli is located in the Cho Oyu massif, Lat 28°04'24"N Lon 86°36'50"E. It was first climbed in October 1986 by a Japanese expedition, and its ascent was only repeated a couple of times. Jasemba was officially renamed after the name of Pasang Lhamu, the fist Sherpa lady who climbed Chomolungma (Everest) in 1993.
