Past the cliffs; couloir dead ahead...
The last bit to the couloir; a good view of the trail at this point. About here we were feeling enthusiastic, because reaching the couloir and notch is a sign of definite progress. Plus, the weather seemed to be holding. We couldn't see, of course, what awaited just a comparatively short distance away, on the other side of the Stoney Indian Peaks.
