Crappy road!  Sucess!

Did Pastora after doing Roof Butte in the morning. The road was very rough with a lot of eroded spots and exposed bedrock in particular at the steep sections. The hike itself was short and easy. Views were not that great because it was overcast and drizzly.

I think they left off the "L"...  Sucess!

The peak and its surroundings are peaceful, cool, and lushly green; definitely worth the visit if you have an appropriate vehicle. The Carrizos seem very far removed from the bustle of metro Phoenix!

Serene place  Sucess!

With Scott Casterlin, Scott Peavy and Chris Gilsdorf ("DartmouthHiker"). Remote peak way up there on the Navajo Nation, a very beautiful place. Drive up is half the fun and most of the challenge.
