Route Climbed: XC from 4th of July lake - traversed ridge to other pks Date Climbed: July 2005
went up trail a little from 4th of July lake, then XC up to ridgeline. From summit scrambled down S ridge which changed from granite to limestone. Went over to PK. 10,900 and then SW on ridgeline to Pk 10,707. Went down trashy SW face of Pk 10,707 back to trail and 4th of July TH. Very enjoyable, light day with fun scrambling and magnificent views the whole time.

NE ridge via Four Lakes Basin
Beautiful capstone to a five day backpacking trip in the White Clouds. Angled up the NW ridge from Four Lakes Basin, and reached the summit just as the sun came out from behind the clouds.
