| The wife and I left the kid sleeping in the tent while we walked the Ants Basin trail to the ridge top, then followed the west ridge to the summit- we passed the obvious shortcut, but wanted to see the country. After the summit, we followed goat trails to an overlook (and possible descent) into Chamberlain Basin. A short reverse on the goat trails, then a long, steep scree descent back to 4th of July Lake. | |

| An overcast day with occasional rain on my way through Ant's Basin to the Born Lakes cleared up just in time for a scramble up to Patterson. My climbing buddy and I made our way up to the saddle between the Born Lakes and Four Lakes Basin and took the NE ridge up to the summit. I pushed myself so hard to beat him to the summit (he always wins!) that I was exausted when I got there, but just edged him out. :) We continued hiking the ridge to the south and curved around to Peak 10960, found a route down to Glacier Lake and side-hilled it back to the saddle and back to camp. | |

| Three of us made the trek from Fourth of July TH to Blackman Peak and then hiked the ridge up to Patterson. Good views of Sawtooths and Castle. Easy route to summit both peaks. | |

| went up trail a little from 4th of July lake, then XC up to ridgeline. From summit scrambled down S ridge which changed from granite to limestone. Went over to PK. 10,900 and then SW on ridgeline to Pk 10,707. Went down trashy SW face of Pk 10,707 back to trail and 4th of July TH. Very enjoyable, light day with fun scrambling and magnificent views the whole time. | |

| I failed to summit this peak based on weather the previous 2 attempts. Zach and I would finally summit in sunny, but windy conditions. Headed back down the west ridge and up Blackman Peak afterward. | |

| Beautiful capstone to a five day backpacking trip in the White Clouds. Angled up the NW ridge from Four Lakes Basin, and reached the summit just as the sun came out from behind the clouds. | |
