Beautiful Views
Climbed up from Hidden Lake. This was day 3 on a 5 day backpack. Amazing views from the top.

Northwest Ridge
Day 3 of 4. Climbed Glens peak the previous day and camped at Ardeth lake. Backpacked over to Virginia lake, hung the packs, then set off for Hidden lake and the peak. Maneuvered around fallen trees and granite walls to gain the pristine gorgeous lake 9050. Scrambled to the ridge, made our way right around the block and up to gain the summit ridge. Found the register, which was placed in 1981, signed in '87, then not again until 2012, with two groups in 2013. Must've been lost for awhile. Views into Imogene basin were breathtaking, but then so were the views all around this peak that sets at the intersection of several drainages.

Long Day
Straight forward, but longer day hike from Hell Roaring. Mostly trail hiking, then scrambled over easy terrain to the summit.
This was actually my first time at 10,000 ft and it was truly spectacular! We bagged Peak 9,777 first, then followed the ridge to the saddle on up to Payette Peak summit. Wish there would've been a summit register, oh well. I spose this means I need to climb some more, eh? Thanks for the trip report... it helped me gain perspective of where we wanted to go! My trip report will be coming along soon, stay tuned.
