PT 13078, PT 13317 and PT 12837 from Poplar Gulch Trail, a nice early season climb that was snow free. Gotta love the south facing slopes in early June!
I first saw these two beauties (13317 & 13299) way back in 1995 when I first went to climb Mt. Antero. At that time I was only doing the 14ers and could not think that 15 years later I might go to climb these.
The hike on the road to the 12580 ft saddle was very pleasant. The remaining 700 ft to the summit was much fun. There was a summit log (in a PVC pipe). Although it was new, water had got into it and it was soaking wet. I left it in the sun and wind for the 25 minutes that I was on the summit but it did not dry at all.
