After climbing Needle Point we returned to camp at Cached Lake and started up this summit. It took 1 1/2 hours from camp. This peak is #55 on Howbert's list of Oregon's 100 highest peaks.

From Arrow Lake
After summiting arrow lake peak. Snow in the west facing basin made climbing the rocky slopes much easier, Top 100 # 84 for me.

North - West Ridge
Hiked up the north then west ridge to the summit. The route steepens and becomes cliffy as you approach the summit. I dropped off to the north side of the ridge briefly to complete the route on the north face. Dropped off to the north then hiked over to the base of Needle Point to camp for the evening. Climbed up to the summit of Needle Point the next day.

From Cached Lake
Got up early from my camp at Cached Lake and did this one before heading down Eagle Creek and other adventures. Tried to follow the rim around from the north and west, but found it impassable and had to drop down into the north bowl fora steep, but easy hike up the north aspect. Great area.
