Peak 8295

Peak 8295

Seen from the summit ridge on Guthrie Peak. From certain positions, this mountain and Guthrie Peak seem almost like twins. In fact, with all the fog swirling about on the day I climbed Guthrie Peak, this view had me wondering (and afraid) if I'd climbed the wrong mountain. I had to meticulously study my map and the surrounding terrain to assure myself I hadn't really goofed. Enlarge this for what I think is a truly spectacular perspective of what this part of Montana is all about. Rocky Mountain Front, Montana-- July 2008
