Second time up, ran the ridge 9-8-7 from the Wheeler Trail and looped back down the Colorado Trail after traversing cross country to it from the 6-7 saddle.

A great ascent with Peakbug. We were able to drive to the top of the lifts on CR 751, which made for a quick climb to the summit. The views were great from up top. Unfortunately, there was plenty of wind, so we did not get over to Peak 8 or 10. I will be back for those.
Drove up the county road above Peak 9 restaurant. Quick trip up Peak 9. Windy but clear morning.

Great spring day
Great day in Tenmiles, I used the Mercury skilift in Breckenridge, stashed my skis in the forest, then hiked Pk10, Crystal, Pk10 and Pk9. Awesome whole day trip with some loose rock on the north ridge of Pk10.

Lift assisted up to the restaurant. Skinned/walked up the rest. Skied down in abysmal snow conditions.

Surprised to have these peaks to ourselves in such a popular area on such a fantastic weather day! Three peaks, bomber views, unbeatable weather...and back down in Breckenridge with plenty of time to enjoy lunch at the brewery. Life is good!

Ten Mile Traverse
This was my last peak as part of the Ten Mile traverse as I had already done Peak 10. Sweet traverse with a nice contrast between exposed scrambling and a gentle stroll.

West Slopes via Wheeler Trail
I like this approach because you really don't feel like you are climbing through a ski area. After summitting I headed down the north ridge toward Peak 8.

Celebration Hike!
A very social hike with a large group - we celebrated on top of Peak 9 because it was the FINAL Colorado 13er for one of us. Continued on to Peak 8 before heading back to the TH for more celebration.
