Overview

Peak F is a spectacular unofficially named peak in the northern portion of the Gore Range of West Central Colorado located along a spectacular ridge called "Ripsaw Ridge." This peak along with it's neighbor Peak G are the most difficult peaks to climb along this ridge due to their steep, loose, and rugged approaches along with some bushwacking and 4th class final summit pitches. If one chooses to run the "Ripsaw Ridge" from E to get to F, this section is by far the most difficult and dangerous portion of the ridge.
