From Beartown, with White Dome
I finally got to Beartown! While evaluating my ankle on Wednesday 8/29, I decided to rent a Jeep in Silverton and sleep in my bivy sack under the stars. With a rental, I stopped short of a gaping, muddy chasm in the road, which added about 1.5 miles each way to my hike. Was anxious the whole day about getting back in time to drive the Jeep back to Silverton, so I just climbed White Dome and then Peak One and didn't add any extra credit.
With Rachael, Scot, Kevin and Sarah. Up from White Dome, down the west ridge of 13385 back to our camp below in Elk Creek. The ridge of 13385 was some fun scrambling, would make a great ascent route!

From Beartown
Nice morning hike along with White Dome and Hunchback from Beartown. Drove up the road and climbed Sheep & Greenhalgh in the afternoon.

nice long hike in a high country
Camped at Eldorado Lake, hiked up White dome still in the dark (2nd time, knew the way), then descended into the saddle, continued onto Peak One, sun came up, clouds started to build up and almost thought should return back to the tent. Then winds blew the weather out, completed the hike with Peak Three and Two. Dropped down to Colorado Lake and finished the hike in rain and lighting.
Did not see anyone on the peaks, only some folks hiking Colorado Trail.
