Dayhike  Sucess!

Dayhike to Peep Sight and Lookout. We made a loop out of it and chose offtrail hiking over the standard route down from Lookout. The overall loop was both easier and harder than I had expected, if that's possible. Only a little more than 8 miles in total but some spots were slowish going. Nothing technical, just a tad annoying at times. Looking forward to coming back for Bull Run and Henry Peaks.

No beta!  Sucess!

Had a map but no beta. Made for an interesting adventure. The rock up there is a bit crappy but was fun none the less. Climbed with Jonodo.

4 Pk Loop  Sucess!

Did a 4 peak loop from Pacific Valley. The 'peep sight' is on the south ridge, a natural bridge.

Consolation Prize

Being suprised that Hwy 4 was closed at the pass (some sort of Death Ride) we choose to climb out of Pacific Valley. Its nice to have a cool area to hike in as a spur of the moment plan. We ascended from the SW ridge of the peak and found some relatively easy but loose 3rd class. There are a few small natural arches lower on the ridge. Nice day. Good views. Hiked with Bryangast.

4 peaks in a day  Sucess!

With Bob Burd, tagged this, Lookout, Henry, and Bull Run. Day started out cloudy, windy, and cold, then immediately turned to cloudless, windless, and warm after we left Peep Sight. This was our highest summit of the day.
