| This time as part of a round-trip (Gentiana hut - Peleaga - Papusa - Portile Inchise - Valea Rea - Gentiana). Cloudy weather, but no rain - perfect for avoiding getting sunburnt. A little distraction lead to literally falling on my face while descending the NE ridge, but apart from scaring the other hikers, it was okay. In a nutshell, my advice is: enjoy the view, but don't forget to care for your steps! :) | |

| We were going for the circuit: Peleaga, Papusa, Portile Inchise, Lake Galesu, Valea Rea and again Peleaga then descending to the Bucura lake at the camp. | |

| 2 times both from Pietrele, second time was in august 2007 after we climbed a route from Bucura II wall and we descend from Peleaga on Valea Rea. | |

| Gentiana hut - Valea Rea valley - Peleaga pass - Peleaga - Custura Bucurei - Bucura pass - Gentiana. Despite the fog+hail+rain it was a great hike. | |
