Vielen Dank! Of course I just got lucky whilst flying over the range (& Gabriele provided the captions). What a great view that was. I noticed you live in Hof- you don't know my friend Peter Hanke, do you? A pretty town.

I don't know him - never heard the name. Maybe he is as inactive in the local alpine club as I am.
You've been in my town? It has actually become quite pretty in the last quarter of a century or so. Before it was a quite nasty industrial town. But I'm living here only since 15 years.

Rhône valley is where Saastal is writen. On the top of the pict is Rhein valley. Saas valley is between Tächhorn and Weissmies
