Thrilling Day!  Sucess!

Kevin and I took a chance on snow conditions in the chute and got reasonably lucky with full coverage, albeit post-hole here and there. Mistakenly started the route in wrong spot, so the first pitch was 5.8 instead of 5.6, but the rest of the route was obvious 5.7. Fun, tiring and thrilling. Jazzed to have finally squatted this thing!

Beautiful spire  Sucess!

Climbed with Chad and Bryan. An amazing day out, with some clean climbing.

Fantastic Spire  Sucess!

Really enjoyed this climb with Vitaliy M. and Bryan. Great views throughout the hike and the climb, and the spire is beautiful.

Our route seemed to differ a bit from what was described in Secor, second pitch was up the west side, went about 5.8ish.

Great Dayhike

Excellent outing and great snow/weather conditions with Pellucid Wombat, Wrathbum and Vitaliy Kalashnikov
I froze atop the second belay station as the packs made getting through the crux a difficult and prolonged affair. Rapped from the station. My thanks to Shane and Mark for donating webbing and a rap ring to the cause

Petit Grifon Spire to Western Summit Date Climbed: Oct. 1, 2000  Sucess!

My first technical alpine climb. This is a beautiful little spire between Mt. Mills and Mt. Abbot. The western summit is table-sized. I was surprised to find a summit register.
