Did this happen forever ago and I'm just catching up, or is this something new? Anybody have info that can be slapped together to make a page, or will I do this if I pay the mountain a visit in the next month?

I believe BigLost was the one who put it up originally so and he deleted several of his pages which makes sense as to why this one disappeared.. Here's a link to the pics that are still floating:

Since I have a lot of information on this one, here is the first edition:

Here's a trip report that Dennis Poulin authored:

I dunno what happened Question but he bailed for some reason. I agree about his pics being super and wonder if he just got bored with SP and pulled the plug. I don't know all of the pages he deleted but I found out the hard way when I tried to access my stuff on Mt. Scott and found it was gone (my pics weren't of course, just floating). I put Mt. Scott up again but I'm wondering what else got hosed.

There used to be a link to SP on the cohp.org page but that link doesn't work now (although I will contact Adam and let him know). Fortunately I had a good page of notes on Mt. Baird and was able to put it up again without too much effort.

I received a PM from BigLost in Jan 2008. He felt that he and SP had drifted apart--I won't go into the details since it's for him to say (or not say) exactly why he felt that way. But, he did tell me that he'd deleted over 200+ images (which was affecting a custom object I maintain, and why I'd contacted him), and that he would probably transfer his mountain pages over to other SPers. I agree: He had some great images and information, and is missed. --mark d.

Biglost maintains his own site with the trip reports and pictures many of us loved. He and I plan to climb a mountain or two together this summer, and I can't wait to meet him.

Anyone interested can PM me for a link to his site.

And Mark is right-- BL felt that he and SP had grown apart. He asked to have his account, and all with it, deleted, though he did transfer some pages to others first.

He was (and is) a class act. And he is missed.
