That's some clean gear! Mine always ends up looking like it got dragged behind a truck.

Luckily I am without a female counterpart to comment on the abundance of sharp pointy objects scattered about.

Here's some of mine, got the sports rack from Lowes for about $70, most of the technical stuff/ropes are in the packs seen, my main pack is out in the truck in the garage in preparation for an adventure tomorrow morning. The rest is stowed in totes out of sight to the left.

That's interesting, because most guys would love the chance to see my rack. Laughing

Instead of a closeting started using a pegboard and a shelving unit. Ropes, biners, jackets, bags, and many other items hang very well, and the shelving holds boots, socks, long underwear, etc.

Wow. Me thinks there to be a bit of Type-A behavior displayed in these photos. Impressive organizational skills.

Me? I've just devoted one bay of a 3-car garage to a "gear heap" piled on four shelves of a garage-style "bakers rack", side-by-side with John Deere, et. al.

When my wife and I bought our home, I reserved this corner of the basement for my beloved gear. My second favorite room in the house, after the . . . bedroom.

I'm impressed with the number of people that sort and hang their racks. I admit that I keep most of mine on my gear loop inside my climbing pack for quick departures.
