Alpine Partner for the Ostalps

by stenvold » Tue Apr 28, 2015 11:49 pm

I'm based out of Munich and looking for partners to do some alpine peaks in the PD+ to AD+ grade range.
I'm experienced in Rock climbing(sport, multipitch, trad), Glacier travel and I started Ice climbing this last winter up to grade WI4

Hi Stenvold,

Just in case you wish to do some rock climbing ...
I will be in the Dolomites from 22 August to 20 September.

I am 55 years of age and quite experienced with multi pitch rock climbing. I was in the Dolomites last year for four weeks climbing and decided to return in 2015. I climb regularly (average one day out of 10) and have my previous rock experience in Australia and New Zealand and alpine experience in New Zealand and the Himalaya.
The grades that I wish to climb in the Dolomites are the long climbs with pitches of III, IV to V+ or occasionally VI if the protection is good. I only climb safely these days and have the relevant trad gear.

I'll have a car and am planning to operate from the Cortina de Ampezzo area but can be flexible on that.
If you wish, Contact me on wcarroll06@yahoo.com

Cheers,
