I'm an intermediate level alpine climber looking for a training and climbing partner near Tijeras, Albuquerque, Cedar Crest, etc (I'm in Tijeras). I'm looking to start doing weighted training hikes in the Sandias, and I do some mountain biking/running for fitness as well. My goals include the Cooper Spur on Hood, any route up Rainier, Shasta in winter (jan/feb) via Casaval, and eventually bigger stuff like Denali. I plan to do several training climbs this winter in the Pecos, Wheeler, and possibly in Colorado.
