Most of the food at Chuckarama in Saint George is of organic origin. People sometimes eat in the parking lot, too.

My absolute biggest pet peeve of Mormon influence (patio dining), which for the most part the rest of the religion does not bother me or my lifestyle. Virtually no real patio dining in the city limits...a city that has at least 300 days worth of outdoor fraternizing (Canmore maybe has 70 days and every establishment has a patio). No doubt intertwined with some ridiculous liquor license requirement. Better not drink a beer or coffee in public. To pathetic of a deal to even investigate for me. We simply eat, drink, curse, smoke and have wild sex at home when in Utah. In Canmore, we do all that in the streets.

Oddly enough, you can buy beer, wine or hard spirits in an <appropriately licensed> restaurant in Utah, even on a Sunday. I had a beer and a cup of coffee in the same meal at Ruby's Inn two Sundays back.

My joke fell on its face. The Chuckarama is a low-end buffet in St George; by "organic origin" I meant "came from living things."

Moapa, your joke, as soft as it was, did land here for what it is worth to you...I just used it to take the opportunity to point out that there is some weird liquor law in this town that prevents drinking on a patio. Oscars in Springdale or Greg's place out by us (Coyote Gulch-Kayenta) are the only places we can sit outside and drink a beer. Way too non-interested to figure out what it is since I have my own damn patio and spend half my time in Vegas or Springdale anyway. St. George, for its population, has the worse dining options of any western town I have ever visited, not just lived. Not why I am here obviously or it would matter. Google restaurant options on your next visit, you will discover they actually give reviews on their fast food places. Before we lived here we ran the tri state marathon and discovered that factual gem.
