How many of the bigger walls in the Big Horns have routes on them. Kieth Noback and myself have done a couple of 1000ft+ mixed routes in the Chill Lake Cirque on Big Horn Peak and I know there have been some routes done on the Lost Twin Side of Big Horn Peak. There seems to be endless rock but you hear relatively little about any routes. I had seen a guidebook from many years ago that had some routes in the high peaks, but that book is out of print. One last point is that these have to be some of the biggest walls this far east in the U.S. and therefore seem somewhat neglected.
There are some archives in the AAJ that you can access online. Just look up the American Alpine Journal website and type in Cloud Peak and it will give you some different things in the range. Some are very interesting especially the stuff around Cloud Peak. You may have to really search through the info to find what you're looking for. There is even some first accounts of explorers coming through in the 30s that are really interesting. I too have shared some of the mixed routes in the Cirque with Noback, that is some amazing country.
