Birch Lake TH

Anybody have recent info on the drive in to Birch Mtn/lake/creek TH? I've got a not particularly high clearance sedan which I can't afford to replace any time soon. Thanks!

You won't have any problem to the intersection of the trailhead spur road off of McMurry Meadow Road (about 5.5 miles from Glacier Lodge Road) in a passenger car but soon after the turn a little ground clearance is good. You might consider parking near the intersection and walking the last little bit of road. It is almost as fast as creeping along trying to preserve your car. There are only a couple of parking turnouts after you leave McMurry Meadow Road.

There area few places where MM Road is wide enough that if you sort of scoot off to the side no one will bother you.
