I'm a UK 10.5, but I can ring the place in Anglesey tomorrow, I was busy today.

How long are you in Wales for, if you're around into the first weekend of January I might wait till then to see if the weather improves. I'm mostly interested in getting some winter snow/ice experience than scrambling right now, but I'll see how things pan out, Grade III would be fun!

Ok, arrived at 7 this morning. Raining really badly, snow around 800m is my estimate.

Snow is in bad nick and no good since the rain doesn't seem to be snow at the summits ...

North ridge of crib coch covered in a dusting but not worth mentioning certainly not with the thaw kicking in tomorrow ... will be here till 7th but might go to lakes due to bad snow lol. But since i'm here now i'll have to drink loads first :-)

Without snow it seems ... Snowline moved up 100m in less than two hours ...

Have a good Christmas man! I think I might come join you anyway regardless of the weather

Regardless the weather :-)

50 mph gusts in the valley, bad rain and foggy. No snow at all, not even at summits :-)

I'm just drinking in the heights ... lol

I could get the train over on Wednesday evening to do a route on Thursday. Where are you staying?

It depends on the weather really. If there isn't much snow, I'd really like to do the Bochlwyd Horseshoe. If it's proper winter conditions, probably something a bit easier. The Y Cribyn ridge looks like a fun ridge on the way up to Snowdon, could then double back and do the second half of the Snowdon Horseshoe
