BRAND NEW GARUDA ATMAN TENT

by iannguyen » Sat Dec 04, 2010 1:06 am

I love this tent so much that I bought more than one, so it’s time to part my spare one. This tent was made in Seattle, Washington by Garuda Mountaineering in the 90’s. This is a serious 1 person mountaineering tent. It has been stored loosely inside my gear closet, never been used before. The Atman features a single wall breathable fabric called ByroTex (similar to Bibler and Integral Designs tents). It comes with a built in vestibule of 7 sq. ft., weights at 3 lbs 13 oz and 21.5 sq. ft. of living space. It has 2 Easton aluminum poles which one of them can be left at home to save 3.5 oz when conditions are lighter-duty. It earned the Backpacker’s Editor’s Choice in 1994. This tent was sold for $450 back then. For more info. about the tent, please visit http://byronshutzjr.org/GM_Pics/GM_Cat4 ... Kusala.jpg. Asking price: $275.

Note: The picture show my other Garuda Atman tent (on the right). The one for sale is brand new. Since it's new, you will need to seam seal the tent. The sale includes: 1 Garuda Atman, stakes, poles, tent bag (I replaced a lighter fabric one), photocopy of the original instruction, seamgrip.
