I have 48 on my current list of definitely want to give a shot. I have another 10 of nice to haves. And countless if I get chance sure.

Evolution traverse car-to-car in a day. Devil's Crags traverse. I doubt I'll manage either, but they're worth someone else's effort.

Now that I'm a little older, I've kind of dispensed with lists as they seem to focus on things I may never get done vs. things that might get done. For example, big alpine climbs just aren't on the menu anymore. Too much time, cost and risk. Sure like reading Alpinist and dreaming about those though. Anyways:

Any route on El Cap again, though Iron Hawk, Sunkist and Zenyata Mondata are high on my list. Need to finally climb The Nose as well.
Solo El Cap.
Astroman
N. Face of Mt. Chamberlin
Charlotte Dome
Incredible Hulk
The Diamond
Any mellow peak in the Himalaya
Piz Badile
Hike the John Muir Trail
Primrose Dihedrals

Probably lots that I'm forgetting. Fitzroy, Ama Dablam and Changabang are no longer contenders. Same with Bhagirathi III, Mt. Huntington and the N. Face of Mt. Kitchener. Oh well. That much more time to go bouldering and backpacking with my kids.

i'd like to be able to say i finished > 50% of the seven summits, so that would be aconcagua, elbrus, denali, and kili.

but the two that i would sell my soul for are the matterhorn and logan.

If we're talking bucket lists, I'm assuming peaks/mountains that we could REASONABLY
expect to climb in the future? As opposed to a dream list of sorts.

The point of making a list isn't to complete it, it's to give yourself some ideas to work towards and hope to be fortunate enough to do as many as you can.

I recently found a list I wrote 20+ years ago. I've done about 10% of the list. The few that I'm not too old to do, I'm too broke to do. Time for a new list...

Right? That, and the stuff we want to do changes as we get older. Stuff like K2 was on my wish list twenty years ago... now my thinking's more along the lines of... hell, I could probably climb 20-30 badass things around here in the time it'd take me to go do K2, and for a shitload cheaper, and I wouldn't be freezing and miserable, either....

Sure, I could rattle off the all of the Colorado 14ers and ultra prominent peaks in the US, but I have to be realistic, especially since I live in New Orleans and not some place like Bishop California. Maybe I'll be a real climber one day, but all I've really got up to this point is Half Dome.
