Does anyone want to attempt this peak in mid-late May with me? I realize it may not be the ideal weather time, but I would hope for a window of opportunity.

All right, well can anyone give me some information, at least? What can I expect for low temperatures on the summit in May? Also, are there feasible crevasse-free routes anywhere on the peak in May (typically speaking, that is)?

Direct route to Whymper summit would also be great. No rock climbing desired.
