Matt, your SJ page looks great but the layout is too wide. Might want to check your settings. Might be caused by the annotated pic of Chicago Basin.

He had Engineer Mtn and 13er Wildhorse as one page. I never really agreed with having these 2 peaks on the same page due to the distance thay are apart from each other. I think 2 seperate pages is best for these 2.

It is only too wide for users without widescreen monitors. I am trying to figure out a way to make it "narrower" so people without widescreen monitors don't have to scroll sideways.

I decided I'll just take London Mountain as a re-build.

Hey folks, I tracked down Aaron's old profile using the waybackmachine. A few things it can be used for.

*The URLs of ALL of his deleted pages are now viewable, so they can be restored if the elves want to do that.

*A complete listing of deleted pages is now available

*Orphaned routes, photos, trip reports, ect. can be tracked down, to do so, first click on the mountain pages that was deleted, then:

-If a route/trip report/ect is archived, click on it and simply copy the URL in the top box. If the page is still here attach it.

-If the page is not archived (ie, you click on it and it takes you to the "thanks for visiting summitpost" URL I'm sure so many of us have come to know and love) do the following. In firefox, right click on a route, photo, ect and select “copy link location”. Remove the first part of the url, it should read something like “http://web.archive.org/web/SomeNumber/”. The rest of the url is the url of the page that needs to be attached. If it's still here attach it.

Also, sometimes Climbers logs are archived, so if anyone wants to re-enter them, check for it. Here's Hagar Mountain if anyone cares.

Just my opinion, but I hope the elves don't restore them! I think Aaron made it quite clear that he was removing his contributions. Based upon SP history/policy, regardless of the volume of material that Aaron deleted, when members leave and take their contributions with them, the pages don't end up back on SP. When I took over Aaron's Golden Horn page I used one of his old pics (Route Map) as he had not deleted it from his profile. I debated on whether or not to use it, but it was still on SP so I did. After I posted the new Mountain page, that picture was deleted from SP, I would assume by Aaron (trust me Aaron, no hard feelings) so I removed the broken link from my page. I will get around to resubmitting that route map (as it was the most useful piece of beta I had on my page) but it was Aaron's picture, so I understand. That being said, for those who are taking over his old pages you may want to think twice about using one of Aaron's pics. I gather he would prefer you didn't.

This part is awesome, and should make the detective work finding the missing pages a helluva lot easier! Thanks...

To clarify I did not post this so people could copy his work, when I said restore I only meant to restore the urls with blank pages as the elves pointed out upthread, to keep taxonomy from falling apart. Aaron made his wishes obvious that he did not want his work copied and it is not like people will be able to get away with copying it anyway. However when he deleted many other people lost their contributions as well, and the work they put in should be salvaged if possible. I posted this to help people salvage others' work (not Aaron's).
