Thank you for writing this post. As my wife and I are planning to climb in Cordillera Blanca, I learned a lot from the comments. We are going there in the end of July and looking into climbing Pisco and Chopicalqui. I'd appreciate a lot if you could share your experience with local guides with us as we want to hire one for route finding and learning technical climbing. In August, you'll probably have enough of Cordillera Blanca, but if not, you are always welcome to join us for one-two peaks.
