Anyone been up there recently and know the conditions of these couloirs?
I know it is usually later in summer these are in but we have had a low snow year

Was up at North Peak 2 weeks ago and the N coulis were still ski runs...snow looked real good around noon to descend.

Needs some time b4 its tool time

Early September it will be either one of the couloirs of North Peak or the North Peak traverse. Anyone have any recent pic's or TR's?

Ended up doing Dana two weeks ago. It was still mainly snow, but some icier patches were appearing. Can't speak of North peak couloirs.

I'm curious what conditions are like as well. I'm considering hiking Dana [first time ] this weekend.

Hiking the regular trail or the couloir? The trail should be fine

I'm vaguely considering one of the North Peak couloirs in early September. Conditions update?

Also, any thoughts on traverse conditions from NP to Conness?

Quite interested myself, V! I'll be up there in the next few weeks, by Sept. 15 at the latest- will post back if no one else has. How do you think the Mendell Couloirs would be in the next couple weeks- you were up there not long ago, no?

Mendel right would probably be 'in' a great shape right now. Pass the by now probably big shrund on the left side and traverse right. Couloir was in great shape when I was there, with some loose snow over ice in sections, which made things spicy. IMO will not be there now.
