If they were, then they should have did a little homework- and read about what Paul Richins Jr. daughter has accomplished.

How did they get on TV and in the paper if it wasn't the parents looking for it? I doubt a reporter was waiting on the summit to see if any kids, disabled, elderly, or otherwise 'noteworthy' people made the summit that day.

And being nine years old is justification enough for you to not tell him what's right or wrong?

Or maybe you can be the first Texan to do the Texas cohp's?

nah, texas' cohp's are boring. i'd like to do all of california's though. seriously, i could try to be the first person residing in tx to do all of them i think. it would be expensive though. that's where the sponsor comes in. since i've already done the yolo county one, i think i have a leg up.

Uuhhhmmmm, guess that could be said, but being this is your first post to this thread, what exactly are you doing?

Say it ain't so Neo. This from the self proclaimed nicest guy in the world.

Catamount wrote:Oh, apparently it was me that confused the thread by mentioning I got dropped by a nine-year-old girl a few years back on Mount Washington. Which, by the way, is an entirely more impressive feat since Trent (the boy) was only climbing Mount Whitney whereas the girl in my anecdote was climbing the 6th most dangerous mountain in the world.

LOL!!!

My take on this is the kid doesn't have any attitude any different than any other 9 year old.

I didn't read anything that says the parents are looking for some TV time or press time.

If they were, then they should have did a little homework- and read about what Paul Richins Jr. daughter has accomplished.

This is a non story.

THATS BULL$H!T! I'm the nicest guy in the world! Screw neopheat! He doesn't even get to post on here till the end of the year, needs to get his climbing log filled : ))))))

Vitalus, get my name right a s s hole, it's Neophite and I'm a hell of a lot nicer person than you:-)) I know, I need to fill my climbing log, some on other threads have indeed suggested that until I have a more impressive resume (not just walk-ups) that I can't comment here. :? :? Slowly getting there.

Yes Mike- I lived in Texas two years... I know they're boring!!!

The CA ones are truely fantastic- let me know if you come out sometime- I guess you are committed now- no turning back after you knock Yolo out.

Vitaliy- I said "self-proclaimed"! I haven't heard anyone else say it yet!

True Neo, not only are you not allowed to comment, but you aren't allowed to vote either.

There's also something like 200 of them, aren't there?

BTW, you have already done the LA County HP in addition to Yolo.

Nah. Your climbing log is irrelevant. But the experience behind the accomplishments will out, whether you list em or not.

There are really only a few people on this whole site who get upset when someone observes their near complete lack of experience. Chuckles.

You bet- I'd love to have a reason to do some of them again sometime- especially in the fall/winter.
