I have a brand new Marmot 8000M Parka for sale and matching pants. Brand new still with tags. It's like this one: http://www.backcountry.com/marmot-8000m ... erralID=NA

I'm asking $350 for the parka.

What size do you need? I have a Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero size small for sale. Perfect condition no rips etc. I am selling it for $250. If you interested pm me and I can send you pictures.

I also have a jacket for sale: FF Volante with hood, event shell, size large. We can start the price negotiations at $300. It's in mint condition.

There are a lot of good brand suggestions here. My suggestion is find a used one. Lots of folks buy a parka for Denali and turn around and sell it knowing they will likely never need anything that warm again.

if you think any of these jackets would only be used on Denali then what over all jacket would you suggest? I'm 5"7 170lbs and i usualy wear size medium.

I think the answer depends on how much cold weather climbing you do. I've only climbed in my down jacket a handful of times, but I wear it all the time at belays, at rests, and around camp.

FF, by the way, runs small. I'm 6'0" 185 lbs, and I wear XL in FF, Large in all other brands.

Having been on denali this past year I wore my down parka exactly 20 minutes! In the morning of summit day at 17. I would get a used sub-zero on ebay and spend money on a down sweater with a hood. I wore that almost 24/7. Just my .02

I bought a new TNF Himalayan Parka for a good price, used it for an hour on Elbrus on a stormy summit day, but it was too warm. Love the jacket though. Would recommend it and take it to Denali without doubts.
