Thank you visentin. That is a useful feature for printing custom maps. But, visually, it is only a detailed line drawing on top of a detailed line drawing. That is a lot of technology just to replicate something that can be done with paper and pen. Between satellite photos and ground-based, first-person geo-tagged photos, can't we integrate this all information into a 3-D map?
Does anyone know how to take such a map and overlay thumbnail photos or text boxes? I can do it as a customized .html page but then it generates pop-ups that are blocked by a browser (a poor solution).
