Embedding table of contents using new editor

by markhallam » Tue Jul 29, 2014 5:57 am

Hi all

Since using the new editor I have had the annoyance of table of contents stubbornly appearing outside of the main piece in a bit of white space at the start. It isn't a major problem - but I don't think it looks as neat as when it is discretely incorporated into the 1st section. It seems to be something to do with not being able to delete an annoying extra empty bit of space just before the first section. I have tried every which way to delete, but nothing I have tried seems to work. I haven't noticed this happening to other peoples pieces on SP. An example of the problem is my latest mountain page: http://www.summitpost.org/montagne-de-robion/902082

Suggestions welcomed!

Thanks in anticipation
Mark

Hi Mark,

I fixed the page that you mentioned. Basically, the problem was caused by the fact that the page had something before the OVERVIEW heading, which I had little trouble removing.

Cheers from the currently rainy Italian Alps,
Rob
