I'm no gear geek, but I gotta say that if your rope is going to wear out from hanging on the wall you are definitely not climbing enough.

And in all these nice gear rooms, mostly the stuff looks like new, like it's for sale.

All my gear is in the back of my truck - ready to go...

So what the heck is in the closet?

Never herd of hurting a rope by letting it hang, heck my rope hung on a wall for one whole winter before. Went from being a bright yellow one to a solid white one. That was 10 years ago and when people ask me "where did you get this cool white rope?" I just smile and say "custom run".

Gear Closet...... Hell, I have a closet upstairs, a wall along the garage with racks of gear, and bins and then two packs in my car.

Anyone who has Classic Wooden axes, you can add to my Album here:

Place Your Username in the Title.
And try to list Maker, Date, Size across, and Length in the bottom of frame.
Thanks

Holy Crap! You put the dog in a fucking bin! Why didn't you just hang him up?

lol, it's called "crate training" and he usually goes there on his own as it's his special happy place. funny in the context though! He is new after all and "learning the ropes"... that couch is his too (but don't tell our guests)

funny because he already knows that when we start getting stuff from "his" room he's going on an adventure!

Wow many of those rooms look like paradise. Unfortunately, I can fit almost all my gear into a large rubbermaid storage container. Dang I hate being a poor college student!

Her Side: Dresses, Blouses, Scarves, High Heeled Leather Boots, Purses, and other assorted "lady thingies".

My Side: Gear.

Ammo boxes too.

There's enough gear on the Site to supply the Marines, the Navy Seals, The Rangers and Delta Force. Not forgetting the SAS here.

(I'm keeping my lot hidden).

I dig that dog. He's so chilled out there.

I don't have a whole lot and most of it is all used. That said, after a couple of years, you'd be surprised how much stuff you can acquire!
