Is there anywhere in Fort William or that area where one can rent crampons and an ice axe?

Nevis Sports in Fort William, at least I think they used to. If not maybe they could point you in the right direction.

Thanks. I hope they still do gear rentals. I'm worried that Aonoch Mor won't have sufficient snow for boarding.

Nevis Sport definately rent gear in Aviemore so I imagine they do in Fort William (else they are stupid!)

Unfortunately Nevis sport have stopped renting, just back from Ft William and the last place that used to was west coast leisure, unfortunately it burned down!
