hiking to 'mulas on Aconcagua

mule costs seem to be getting steeper than the mountain itself :evil: so why not carry the load myself? is it feasible? who has done it?

Sure many people have done it. I saw one guy carrying his entire load while hiking in his plastic double boots...and he was going to Plaza Argentina!

It's very feasible. I have done it a couple of times. Eric did it with a 30 liter backpack.
