hiking to 'mulas on Aconcagua
mule costs seem to be getting steeper than the mountain itself so why not carry the load myself? is it feasible? who has done it?

Sure many people have done it. I saw one guy carrying his entire load while hiking in his plastic double boots...and he was going to Plaza Argentina!

It's very feasible. I have done it a couple of times. Eric did it with a 30 liter backpack.
