Has anyone climbed Huandoy Norte by the northeast or northwest face this year?

I know users KevinTrieu and MRoyer4 climbed on Huandoy in June, you should maybe try contacting them directly.

Actually, I ended up on Huandoy Sur (NE Face), but my partner got sick (I'll spare you all the details) and we had to bail from about half way up. I had good views of the NE face route on Norte and it looked in decent shape. I can dig through my photos and send you some if you're interested.

At the same time we were on Sur, I believe 2 Argentines and an American were on the NW Face of Huandoy Norte. I don't know exactly how it went, but I heard second hand that they were holed up in a snow cave for three days on the descent because of the crappy weather in the Blanca this June.

We climbed t1he face in 86 in alpinstyl. In an direkt line.
