This is the way I post pictures...

1) go to http://tinypic.com/

2) push the "Join Now" button and set up your account.

3) Upload picture

4) When done, grab your code from the "URL for E-Mail and IM" box
by highlighting the code inside the box below and typing "Cntl-C"

5) Go back to your Summit Post reply site and PASTE that code in the message.

Don't forget to add the tinypic site in your favorites.

Ice is out there, you just need to know where it is. Conditions right now may not be the best obviously. If I get around to it, I have some pics of what you can expect given decent conditions.

The ice is definitely there in Leavenworth, but it's been too warm the past week to be good or safe. However, once it gets cold again, that's where I'll be! I went ice climbing for the first time on the 26th and 27th, and the ice was GREAT!

Ice climbing conditions are FANTASTIC in Leavenworth right now. A little on the snowy side on the lower-angle climbs, but steeper (WI3-4) climbs are very fat and blue with minimal snow.

I was going to go to Leavenworth for ice climbing this weekend, but temps are high and it is likely raining. I called a friend down there and he said the ice is wet and sloppy right now. Let's hope for cold temperatures!

I saw your vid on Cascadeclimbers today, awesome! I heard someone say the North Face of Snoqualmie Mountain was pure ice right now, but the SP page says it is mixed. What's it look like?

Also, are there any good WI2-3 climbs in right now? That's what I can lead.
