Lee Vining Dry Tooling

Postby JedSMG » Thu Feb 16, 2012 4:38 pm

Some friends and myself have scratched around on a few easy to moderate dry-tooling pitches at the narrows of Lee Vining Canyon. Nothing spectacular, but it might be a worthy addition to a day or weekend of ice climbing there. So I wrote it up here: http://www.mountainproject.com/v/the-narrows--right/107473474

'Most everything can be top-roped and done with snow, verglas, or completely dry in the sun.

Check it out, or not, whichever...

This is actually really neat. I won't be moving back to Bishop until April and I imagine the ice will have gone the way of the dodo then.
