Local coverage of my climbing!

Don't see climbing in the news much, unless its a tragedy. I have had a couple of recents bits hit. Kind of nice to help with the Kilimanjaro fundraising.

Excellent! Well done, Sir!

Now, THAT'S the sort of human interest articles I enjoy reading! There's so much trash that tries to sap our time and attention, but that is a great positive read.

I really liked these lines:

"Life is purposefully difficult for a mountain climber..."



"The risk must be there, has to be there. It draws Holder to a mountain. It draws his family as well. In a Vinson mountain tent Holder read a letter Miranda wrote to him. She told her dad how much she admired him, how she was inspired by his going after life, instead of waiting for life to find him."
