Just saw a few seconds of the news while riding up the elevator. It said something about a rescue on Mt. Hood after a climber fell 800 feet. Anybody have any more info on this story?

Most of the Oregon news outlets are reporting basically the same thing. Unidentified climber fell 500-800 feet in the Hogsback area around 9:30 AM and survived. Not many more details ...

There was also a guy who fell down a 25-foot embankment near Estacada yesterday but was stopped by a bush.

Looks like we need more bushes on Mt. Hood, then!
