Anyone been up there recently: 1-2days ago? Hows the snow, where does it start. I was up there 2weeks ago and the snow did not actually start til Sam Mack meadow - where I got sick and descended. I may try to do this journey this weekend as a first. Trying for 2 night 3 days (fri night - sunday day). Do I really need crampons? I'm gonna do the N. Couloir. Thanks for any input.
