Manaslu Trek - Need photos of Panbari

Have you trekked the Manaslu Circuit? I'm looking for unpublished pictures of Panbari, most notably the south face. I have all of the photos from Summit Post and everywhere else on the web.

If you were around Bimthang and have any good pictures, please let me know!

Does anyone have any experience/advice/information about ice climbing and skiing in Northern India? I'm going to be there for most of March, I haven't been able to find a great deal of information online. Any information/pointers much appreciated. My family will be in Shanghai, China in May 2017. Has anyone been to Mount Tai (near Tsing Tao city). Curious if anyone has info on trails, climbs or lodging in this area. Is the weather OK for climbing in May.

Peaks in Japan in early/mid April?

I'll be in Japan around early-mid April. I have a few questions on typical conditions around that time:

(1) How accessible are the Japanese Alps at this time of year? Yariga-take is the peak that most caught my eye.

Where would snow line typically begin? Are axe/crampons sufficient, or are snowshoes likely to still be needed?
If that peak isn't reasonable as a (long) dayhike, are there other peaks in that area that are ...

Gasherbrum 2 Pakistan

New to this site but figured some people would be interested in our write up of our climb up Gasherbum 2 this last summer. I posted it on the Gasherbum 2 page but I guess people aren't seeing it. Link here: http://www.14ers.com/php14ers/tripreport.php?trip=17334

India in December

I will be in Mumbai in December for work and would love to visit the foot hills of the Himalayas. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go that time of year? I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to go too high in elevation due to snow but if there are any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Guide/Porter required for Pakistans restricted zones

I'm planning to go to the Karakorums for six months in 2017 (June - November) It's my intention to go to the mountains one week out of each month. I wish to hike on the Charakusa, Baltoro, Biafo and Gondogoro glaciers. None of these treks require climbing, they are of course in restricted zones, so it is my understanding that I need a guide. Unfortunately nobody seems interested in taking one person to the mountains ...

Please Help! URGENT!

Good evening fellow mountaineers!
So, myself and two others have planned a trek from Gangotri through kalindi khal and across to badrinath. We have everything organised and paid for, mountain guide, several sherpas and a cook. The only issue is that for the permit we have been told that we must be in 4 and there is only 3 of us 'foreigners'.
So this message is a call for ANYONE travelling around this area who ...
