I saw this morning in the news that David Breashears passed away on 3/14.

Osvaldo Cardellina passed away today May 2nd in the Aosta hospital because of a cerebral haemorrhage. He was 72 years old and was known throughout the Aosta Valley for his great passion for the mountains and as a great sportsman.

A documentary about Canadian climber Marc-Andre Leclerc, this film features some incredible climbing photography, apparently using drones, although some of the shots defy explanation. "Five climbers died after getting caught in a snowstorm while on the highest mountain in Europe, Russia's Mount Elbrus.

Fourteen other members of the group were rescued in strong winds and low visibility amid temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius, the Emergency Situations Ministry said on September 24.

Eleven of the survivors were taken to hospital.

The September 23 incident occurred when the 19 climbers were at an altitude of over 5,000 meters."
