Back in 2009 I went to Broad Peak in Pakistan and had a crazy adventure. Along the way I shot eight hours of video. I have condensed it down to 78 minutes in a documentary. I am still working on it a little but the trailer is below. It's two minutes that's worth your time, at least in my opinion.

There is a new book about ski bums called In Search of Powder. Has anybody picked this up and heard about it? Looks like it might be interesting to people on this site. I always thought I prefer sunny, warm weather to climb in - which indeed is nice, but I've started to realise that it's not the best weather.
Preferably not rainy - wet makes life so miserable, but foggy, cloudy, snowy is all fine. I enjoy being out in it.

It has a lot to do with how and what you climb, of course.

Any preferences?
